Growing & Using Herbs (A Guide to Herbs & Spices)

A chef is only as good as their ingredients. And with fresh herbs and spices you can transform a dish from bland to divine. This course will introduce you to the great variety of herbs and spices, their different flavours, fragrances, colours and appearance. You will learn how to grow, harvest and cook with them, their medicinal uses and historical importance. As most herbs are easy to grow, and thrive in small spaces and diverse soil types, you can enjoy their tastes and aromas whether you have an extensive garden or small balcony.

Upon completion of this course you will be awarded a Stotts Cengage Education Growing and Using Herbs Certificate.

Duration:	This course must be completed within 24 months.
