Japanese Studies

Japanese has become a very popular language to study, especially for those in tourism and business. In this course you’ll gain a working knowledge of the language, with a focus on everyday words and phrases.

You’ll also learn about different cultural practices and what is considered polite and impolite in Japanese society. Although the language is not complex, the symbols they write with are very different to our alphabet. The lessons in this course are written in the English style using Roman letters. This makes it easier for you to learn to speak Japanese before attempting to learn to read and write.
