Natural Therapies for Pets

Herbal remedies, homoeopathy, acupuncture, massage and many other forms of natural medicine are all active forms of healing. They seek to reinforce the body’s own healing processes without suppressing these processes as many chemical medications do. The result of natural treatment is to heal the body completely, not just treat or suppress the presenting systems. Today there is now a great amount of information available about natural medicine and its uses and our animals can benefit directly from many of these forms of alternative therapies.

This course is designed to introduce you to the therapies and some basic treatments. However, veterinary advice should always be sought to identify your pet’s condition or illness.

Requirements

Prerequisites:	Open entry
Assessments:	13 lessons / 5 assignments
Duration:	This course must be completed within 24 months.
Level:
	Stotts Cengage Education is registered as a private training establishment by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) under the provisions of the Education Act 1989 and its subsequent amendments. This course has no National Qualifications Framework accreditation and no credits will be reported to NZQA upon completion.
