Home carers play an important role in the lives of the individuals and families they care for. Home carers find that helping others is incredibly rewarding too. We will teach you the skills you need to look after elderly, housebound, mentally ill or physically challenged people. You’ll learn how to assist people to improve their quality of life, and how to effectively manage the demands this role. Whether you’re caring for a loved one, volunteering, or are paid for caring, the skills you learn here will enhance the level of care you deliver and improve the safety, health and well-being of those in your care.
